If I could give 0 stars, I would. Gym sent all members an email on 9/5 saying that as of 10/1 it was closing its current operations to convert to something more exclusive (and more expensive than it already is). They are, of course, breaking the yearly contracts we signed when paying for our memberships with less than a month’s notice. They said they would pay us back the part of the membership fee that corresponds to the months we didn’t get to finish our contract, but, days later, no one has replied to my emails and the receptionist had no answers to my questions as to how much and when they were refunding us. Incredibly shady and unprofessional.

Not sure why people have complained about the gym being small. It's not huge, but given it's location it's a lot larger than I expected. Extremely clean, with nice equipment (which it should be, for the price, to be fair). Worth the price for me personally to continue my lifting while on vacation. I went right when they open at 7am and it was predictably pretty empty (perhaps 5 people total). I'd give it a very solid 4, only thing holding it back from 5 is that it really is a bit hot in here for my liking - but as someone from a cold area, this could be preference.

Now that my membership period here is (finally) over I can leave the terrible review this place deserves. Literally paid 400€ for 3 months after being told this was the closest gym in Florence to anything in America. So not worth it. Sure there’s nice equipment and it’s clean for the most part, but it is the size of a small apartment at best. Always super busy, rude staff and customer service, SO hot inside. Not worth your money and DEFINITELY not worth the €25 for a day pass. A total rip off. Also, classes are not great. Don’t waste your money.

It’s very clear that lots of the low-star reviews are by people who don’t understand gyms in Florence. I’ve lived here two and a half years and was a member at a different gym before finding this one. This place is hands down the BEST gym in Florence! Location, hours, cleanliness, amenities, equipment, classes! It’s all ON POINT. Gyms in Italy are EXPENSIVE. ALWAYS. So I sign up for a year and am lucky to be able to finance it (they deduct from my account monthly, and yes there is a small fee for this convenience). I was paying €67 per month after the sign up fee and the medical certificate (which ALL gyms require here). I renewed three months early just recently and got 10% off plus no initiation fee. YES it’s relatively small (we’re in ITALY) and YES it’s crowded during peak hours (lunchtime and 6pm) but if you are able to avoid peak hours you’re golden. Lastly, the fact that this gym is connected to a luxury hotel means that it STAYS squeaky clean. I have personally seen the hotel staff wiping for dust on machines and the locker room gets cleaned hourly.
